Revamped children system (overall less dying) - Suggestions
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Children die way too often
Describe the solution you'd like The chance of a child dying scales by their age. The older a child gets the less likely they are to die, except maybe a mild spike at 16 when they start driving. Older children could also have a higher chance of giving money or crates when they could have gotten to a point where they might be mowing lawns (say 10) or gotten their first job (15-16).
Little messages for aging up could also be customized for each age like "[Child] is now 5 and entered school!" "[Child] is now 14 and started High School!" "[Child] is now 16 and got their driver's license!"
Also, when a child turns 18, they disappear (or go to a different list) and the parents get some kind of message and/or small reward for raising the kid successfully. (Maybe a value could go on the profile or somewhere for the number of kids successfully raised?) It could also be really funny if the kid could in a (small) percentage of cases take a large % of money on turning 18 for "college".
ALSO, I think $child should be usable even if the couple has max children. It should just give a random small amount of lovescore. Maybe if that's considered unbalanced, the chance of producing a child could be reduced to like 25% with the overall lessened chance of children dying. Even just a message saying the couple "had a nice night
Describe alternatives you've considered When $familyevent is used a child should be randomly selected first and then each current age has it's own probability table of events.
Additional context My in-game "wife" and I have been having a lot of fun role-playing a couple in the Discord server we play on, but it's upsetting when the kids keep dying what seems like constantly. I really like the system, and think it could be even that much more awesome with some tweaking. Thanks for making this bot awesome and continuing to do so!
